OBDSTAR MT501 has the same appearance and ability as OBDSTAR MT502 that both support Land Rover KNOB Gear Lever Power on. We need OBDSTAR P004 Adapter and ECU Clone Jumper, main cable, and 12V2A charger to work with OBDSTAR Test Platform to test action. The wiring diagram and operation steps of these two devices are the same as well.

- MT501 with 1-year free upgrade is an automotive test platform by BENCH, which is multi-function in one, including dashboard power on, ABS power on, gear lever power on, A/C (air conditioning) panel power on and more.
- MT502 with 1-year free upgrade is an automotive compressor test platform by BENCH, and it can power on air conditioning compressor by sending CAN signal, supporting most brands of electric scroll compressors.

Follow the Pinout diagram to connect MT501 Test Platform/MT502 and Land Rover Gear Lever Control ECU by P004 ECU Clone Jumper and Adapter correctly
The control power is disconnected.
Turn on the ignition switch button of P004 Adapter
Click “Start” to test
Plug in the control power supply
Test that the lift up, and knob functions work properly
Unplug in the control power supply
The lift down function works properly
After testing, turn off the ignition switch button of OBDSTAR P004 Adapter.
