 Today I’m gonna show how to program a new Chery Tiggo 8 Pro key with OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 by OBD. You can refer to the same steps if having X300 DP Plus tablet.

Operation Steps

Connect OBDSTAR to OBD.

IMMO >> CHERY/COWIN/JETOUR/EXEED >> Latest version >> Manual select model >> TIGGO 8 PRO >> PROXIMITY >> Read PinCode >> Input 17 VIN Code

Read pincode success.

Program keys >> program new keys

If it is a blade key. Please insert it into the keyhole.

If it is a proximity key. Please put the key to be matched in the sensing area and take other keys out of the vehicle.

The sensing area may be located at:

1. Cup holder(some models require moving the cup holder away).
2. Below the cigarette lighter or USB port.
3. Near the gear lever.

Please input the 8-digit pincode just read.

End of function execution!

If it is a blade key. Please pull out the key, wait 3s, and then turn on the ignition switch.

If the vehicle cannot be started, please try to clear the anti-theft box and match again!

Key programming is completed.

The new key can normally work.

OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 Repair for Toyota 89245-07030 SAS

 OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 is able to repair Toyota 89245 Steering Angle Sensor(SAS) like 89245–74010, 89245–07030, 89245–12040. Here’s repairing 89245–07030 as an example.

Here we can check the connect method and wiring diagram.

Check again whether the appearance is consistent.

Connecting the harness according to the wiring diagram.

Turn on the power of P004 and connect to ECU.

Click “Connect”.

After the connection is successful, you can find that there are collision data records in the module data.

Click “Erase Crash”.

Now you need to calibrate the angle back to zero degree.

At zero degree, it will show green.

Once the calibration is complete, we can fix it with a tie to prevent deviation.

When loading, make sure that the steering wheel is centered and key off before installing the angle sensor.

The control power is disconnected.

Plug in the control power supply

Test that the lift up, and knob functions work properly

Unplug in the control power supply

The lift down function works properly

 This is a tutorial on how to reset JMC R7F701009 Airbag with OBDSTAR P50 on Bench. Read this article carefully to learn how easy it works.

Accessories Required

P50 Airbag Reset Tool

*Make sure OBDSTAR airbag reset tool is in charging and communication in the whole process.

Operating Steps

Airbag reset >> airbag reset >> Latest version >> Brand >> FOTON >> FOTON J38580738-P1360010011A0(CONTINENTAL) R7F701009[BENCH]

Press "Guide"&"Pinout" to check connection instruction.

Connect harness according to the wiring diagram.

After successful connection.

Turn on ignition >> Start >> OK

Here we can check ECU info, read DTC, erase DTC and erase crash.

Click "ECU Information" to check if the airbag part number is correct.

Click "Read DTC".

There are lot of crash fault codes. And we can't execute the "Erase DTC" function.

Click "Erase Crash".

Erase crash success. Please disconnect the 12V power supply and wait for 30s, and then reconnect the 12V power supply.

Click "Erase DTC".

Erase DTC success.

Go back to read DTC.

The crash fault codes were gone! Airbag reset has done.

Programming Benz SIM271DE with OBDSTAR DC706

 Mercedes-Benz SIM271DE ECM read and write with OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool on bench perfectly. Only 2 mins!

You need a main OBD cable, OBDSTAR P004 Adapter and ECU Clone Jumper, 12V power supply to work with DC706 device.

Supply power to DC706, and keep charging and communication throughout the whole progress.

This function is available by connecting the server. Ensure the internet connection is normal during the process.

1.Connect device and Benz ECM

Select ECU Flasher>> ECM>> ECM newest software (i.e.ECM V30.28)>> BRAND>> BENZ

There are only 2 options. Select the correct menu based on the make and model on the ECM module.

Click Guide at the bottom left to check the best detection method

Click Pinout to check the wiring diagram and follow it to connect P004 Adapter and Benz ECM via OBDSTAR P004 ECU Clone Jumper

And then connect to DC706 ECU Tool via main cable

After connection, turn on the switch button on OBDSTAR P004 Adapter, and start to perform the read and write operations.

2.Read and write Benz ECM

Click "Connect" to verify security and connect ECU according to the prompts

Read INT eeprom (ST95128) and INT flash (TC1796) separately, and save the corresponding data file

Use the same connection method to connect OBDSTAR DC706 and a new Benz SIM271DE ECM

Then load the corresponding external data (EEPROM & Flash) to write into the new ECM

The write operation is completed, click disconnect to exit the system.

Done!
